Keane - Hopes and Fears專輯肯定是2004年其中一張爭議性極大的專輯！
無論你是喜歡Hopes and Fears與否，無論你認為將Keane的名字跟Coldplay與Travis扯上關係是否過譽，無論你認為Keane的音樂是否具有震撼力，你都不可能將歷史推翻改寫，Keane實實在在是Brit Awards的Best Breakthrough Act ，而Hopes and Fears則是Brit Awards的Best Album！
我是屬於支持一方的，我喜歡Keane跟他們以琴取代結他的主導位置的鶴立雞群並沒有直接關係，從Keane的音樂當中所滲透出來的感染力才是重點所在。這個可真有一點抽象，你總不會認為Keane的音樂有任何地方石破天驚，甚至你總會有一總似曾相識的親近，但當旋律配上主音的嗓子化學作用就出現。這一點，我從他們剛推出的現場錄音EP live recordings 2004得到引證。現場演奏的無遮無掩不但沒有將任何問題突顯，相反那活生生的原始感覺令本身的感染力推向更高的層次，這是音樂的震撼！聽Bedshaped的全場大合唱時的感動，竟然令我想起U2當年Live Under A Blood Red Sky時演繹40時的情景來。

據消息講已經99%完成, release date暫時係6月尾, 碟名係The Understanding!
